Jordan Epp, BFA, M.Ed.

Jordan is a full-time instructional designer in the Distance Education Unit at the University of Saskatchewan. Jordan has taught online Instructional Design and Foundational Education courses in the Certificate in Adult Continuing Education (CACE) program and Digital Media and Design courses as a Sessional Lecturer for both the College of Arts and Science as well as the Educational Technology and Design (ETAD) program in the College of Education. His research interests include digital literacy and citizenship; remix culture, social learning environments, informal learning and strategies for employing connectivist theories in online learning. Jordan is also a founding member of the ETC Makerspace in the College of Education. With a BFA in Film and Video Production and a M.Ed. in Educational Technology and Communications, Jordan is a strong believer in disruptive technologies and the language of media as a tool for teaching and learning.
